AT RANONG AIRPORT (VTSR)

1  INTRODUCTION

With effect from 1 October 2026 at 0100 UTC to 13 August 2027 at 1700 UTC, this AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned of construction of runway extension, RESA, new parallel taxiway, new taxiway and apron extension, overlay and revision of airfield lighting systems at Ranong Airport.

2  DETAILS

2.1 The construction works include runway extension, RESA, new parallel taxiway, new taxiway and apron extension, overlay and revision of airfield lighting systems. The details are as follows:

2.2 All equipment must not be over 14 feet above ground level.
2.3 All workers and equipment must vacate runway strip within 15 minutes to accommodate flight operations (take-off and landing).
2.4 Flashing red lights (unserviceability lights) will be displayed 0.5 metres above ground level at intervals of 3 metres to mark construction site. Vehicles and machinery in the site are all marked by 90 x 90 cm orange and white checkered flags. Personnel in the site are required to wear a reflective safety vest to meet safety requirements.

This AIRAC AIP Supplement will remain current until 13 August 2027 at 1700 UTC. Any changes to this AIRAC AIP Supplement will be notified through NOTAM.
