RUNWAY CLOSURE FOR MAINTENANCE WORKS AT PHUKET INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (VTSP)
(16 AUGUST 2026 - 23 MARCH 2027)

1 INTRODUCTION

With effect from 6 August 2026 at 0100 UTC to 23 March 2027 at 2330 UTC. The purpose of this AIRAC AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned of the closure of runway 09/27 for maintenance works at Phuket International Airport that cannot be conducted during normal operations.

3 PRECAUTIONS

3.1 All aircraft operators operating during these periods should plan to reschedule the flight operations in accordance with slot allocations.

3.2 Aircraft operators are advised to avoid using Phuket International Airport as an alternate aerodrome during the runway closure period

3.3 Due to traffic congestion, departing and arriving aircraft operating during this period may experience delays and aircraft operators should plan to carry sufficient contingency fuel.

3.4 All areas will be cleaned and inspected before being considered fit for purpose and for aircraft operations.

4 REVISIONS TO CLOSURE PROGRAM

4.1 The closure program may be revised in the event of forecast or actual adverse weather conditions or other extenuating circumstances.

4.2 Any revision to the closure program will be promulgated by NOTAM.

6 VALIDITY

This AIRAC AIP Supplement supersedes AIRAC AIP Supplement A14/26 and will remain current until 23 March 2027 at 2330 UTC. Any changes to this AIRAC AIP Supplement will be notified through NOTAM.
