  REVISED OPENING OF NEW APRON AND TAXIWAY A AND B, EXTENSION OF RUNWAY, TAXIWAY
AND APRON, AND REVISION OF AIRFIELD LIGHTING SYSTEMS AT BURI RAM AIRPORT (VTUO)

1  INTRODUCTION

With effect from 11 June 2026 at 1301 UTC to 31 December 2026 at 0000 UTC, this AIRAC AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned of construction works such as runway and taxiway extension, apron expansion and revision of airfield lighting systems revision and the opening of apron and taxiway (A and B) at Buri Ram Airport. The details are as follows:

2  OPENING OF NEW APRON AND TAXIWAY A AND B

Apron (Aircraft Stand No. 1 - 9) and Taxiway (A and B) will be available for operational use.

3  CONSTRUCTION AND CLOSURE DETAILS

3.1 The construction works details and works performed as indicated below:

3.2 Throughout the construction, vehicles and machinery in the site are all marked by orange and white checkered flags 90 – by – 90 - centimetres.
3.3 All personnel and vehicles require permission to enter and exit the designated areas.
3.4 All construction equipment will be kept clear before aircraft arrival and departure operation.
3.5 The chart related to the construction is attached in herewith.

4  AVAILABILITY OF VISUAL AIDS

Navigation aids will be operated as indicated below:

5  TRAFFIC REGULATION

5.1 All training flights are not allowed to operate at Buri Ram Airport throughout the construction period.
5.2 Pilots are required to follow instructions of Air Traffic Controller (ATC).
