RUNWAY 01/19 AND TAXIWAYS OVERLAY AND AIRFIELD LIGHTING SYSTEMS REVISION
AT NAKHON SI THAMMARAT AIRPORT (VTSF)

1 INTRODUCTION

With effect from 16 April 2026 at 1500 UTC to 30 September 2026 at 2200 UTC, this AIRAC AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned of Runway 01/19 and taxiways overlay and airfield lighting systems revision at Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport.

2 DETAILS

2.1 Construction works will be carried out on Runway 01/19 and Taxiway A, B, C, together with revision of the airfield lighting systems.

2.1.1 Runway 01/19, Taxiway A, B and C will be closed during the construction period.

2.1.2 The overlay works will be carried out within the turn pad areas.

2.1.3 The overlay works will cover an area of 2,100 × 60 m on Runway 01/19 and will extend 60 m into the overrun area beyond both runway ends.

2.2 The upgrading of the runway strip will cover a portion located between 105 m and 140 m from the runway centerline, spanning a total length of 2,220 m.

2.3 Existing airport markings that are worn, damaged or faded will be repainted/re-marked.

2.4 Vehicles and machinery operating in the airside will be equipped with 90 x 90 cm orange and white checkered flags or flashing lights.

2.5 Personnel in the worksites are required to wear a reflective safety vest and a safety helmet.

2.6 The charts related to the construction works are attached herewith.

4 VALIDITY

This AIRAC AIP Supplement will remain current until 30 September 2026 at 2200 UTC. Any changes to this AIRAC AIP Supplement will be notified through NOTAM.
