THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW CARGO TERMINAL, CONTROL POST 2 AND GROUND SERVICE EQUIPMENT AREA AT CHIANG MAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (VTCC)

1 INTRODUCTION

With effect from 2 April 2026 at 0900 UTC to 14 June 2028 at 2359 UTC, the purpose of this AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned of the construction of a new cargo terminal, control post 2 and ground service equipment area at Chiang Mai International Airport.

2 DETAILS

2.1 The Temporary closure area

2.3 The construction area will be considered as temporary Landside.

2.4 Mobile crane will be erected in the construction area. Maximum Height 99 feet AGL.

2.5 The construction works will be performed daily 24 HR.

2.6 The construction area will be blocked off by barricades painted in an alternate band of red and white, the barricades will be lighted by omni-directional fixed red lights at night and during limited visibility condition.

2.7 The closure area layout is shown in the attachment.

2.8 Any revision to the construction program will be promulgated by NOTAM.
