THE UPPER-AIR BALLOON OBSERVATION IN BANGKOK FIR 2025-2026Royal Thai Navy (Sattahip WMO code 48477)

1 INTRODUCTION

With effect from 25 December 2025 at 2300 UTC to 1 January 2027 at 1200 UTC, pilots are warned that upper-air observations balloon will be operated routine daily by Meteorology Division, Hydrographic Department, Royal Thai Navy (Sattahip), operates as a WMO-registered meteorological observing station (Station 48477), The details are as follows
