DECOMMISSIONING OF THE NON-DIRECTIONAL RADIO BEACON (NDB) SERVICES

1 DETAILS

This is planned to decommission the Non-Directional Radio Beacon (NDB) services at Ubon Ratchathani airports (VTUU), Identification UB Expected Decommissioning 08 Aug 2025 at 1701 UTC.

While flying RNP or RNAV procedures, pilots operating with only one TSO-129 GNSS receiver without map display are advised to manually use a GOTO function to check the distance and radial to the aerodrome reference point (ARP) in order to determine the minimum sector altitude (MSA).

This AIC will be cancelled when the information regarding the termination of the NDB services at Ubon Ratchathani Airport (VTUU) have been incorporated in AIP THAILAND.
