1  INTRODUCTION

1.1 This AIC presents information on the planned establishment of new taxiways and navigation aids at Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

2  DESCRIPTION

2.1 Runway 02L/20R is part of the Suvarnabhumi Airport Development Master Plan initiated by Airports of Thailand Plc. (AOT).
2.2 To accommodate anticipated air traffic growth and reduce airborne and ground delays, the airport management has planned the implementation of runway 02L/20R along with its associated taxiways, including a perimeter taxiway F13 extending from the southern end of parallel taxiway F to connect with taxiway D, bypassing runway 02R/20L.
2.3 In addition, there are plans for the establishment of ILS for runway 02L/20R and SVB DVOR/DME.

3  PLANNED IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE

The operation will be carried out as follows:

2025: Perimeter taxiway F13 and taxiway D extension

- Perimeter taxiway F13, extending the southern part of the parallel taxiway F and connecting taxiway F to taxiway D (see Figure 1),
is planned to be established to allow aircraft to reach the apron without crossing runway 02R/20L.
