  INSTALLATION OF RUNWAY 05/23 TURN PAD LIGHTS AT UBON RATCHATANI AIRPORT (VTUU)

1  INTRODUCTION

This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD

1  With effect from 28 December 2023 at 0100 UTC to 31 July 2024 at 1000 UTC, this AIRAC AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned of
Runway 05/23 turn pad lights installation at Ubon Ratchathani Airport.

2  INSTALLATION DETAILS

2.1  The installation project includes installation of Runway 05/ 23 turn pad lights, pavement boring and saw cutting, installation of cables
in pavement sawcut and electrical conduit, and installation of CCR controlling and monitoring system.

2.2  The installation works will be carried out at runway, taxiway, apron, ATC Tower and AFL Building.

2.3  The installation works will be performed daily between 0100 - 1000 UTC except when flights are operated.

2.4  All vehicles and machinery in the worksites will be equipped with 90 x 90 cm orange and white checkered flags or flashing yellow lights. The worksites will be denoted by highly visible barriers painted in alternate bands of red and white or orange and white. All personnel
in the worksites are required to wear a reflective safety vest to meet safety requirements.
