This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD
1 With effect from 27 November 2023 at 0300 UTC to 28 November 2023 at 1800 UTC, the purpose of this AIRAC AIP Supplement is to inform pilots and operators concerning the release of Sky Lantern activity for Loy Krathong Festival, Chiang Mai Province.
2.1 The release of Sky Lantern activity will take place within 20 NM radius from Aerodrome Reference Point (ARP).The area of activity includes both Chiang Mai and Lamphun Province.
2.2 Direction and height of released sky lanterns is unpredictable.

3 Sky Lanterns are released in a variety of sizes and heights. When released, it may drift considerable distance from the point of release to unpredictable areas and heights that may affect aircraft operations. The release of Sky Lantern affects airspace within the vicinity of an aerodrome and may distract pilot during flight.
