This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD
1 With effect from 2 November 2023 at 2300 UTC to 30 June 2024 at 1600 UTC, this AIRAC AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned of the revision of airfield lighting systems at Narathiwat Airport. The details are as follows:
2.1 The revision of airfield lighting systems cover the areas and works as indicated below:
2.1.1 Revision works will be conducted on airfield lighting systems including runway edge lights, runway threshold light, threshold wing bar, runway end lights, runway turn pad lights, taxiway edge lights, signs, precision approach part indicator ( PAPI) lights, approach CAT I light, simple approach lights, sequential flash light, flood lights system, wind direction indicators, duct bank & manhole, AFL building, CCR and PLC controlling and monitoring system.
2.1.2 The working areas will be conducted on runway, taxiway, apron, control tower building and AFL building.
2.2 The revision works will be performed daily from 23 00 - 1600 UTC except when flights are operated.
2.3 All vehicles and machinery in the site will be equipped with 90 x 90 cm orange and white checkered flags or flashing yellow lights. Construction areas will be denoted by highly visible barriers painted in alternate bands of red and white or orange and white. All Personnel in the site are required to wear a reflective safety vest to meet safety requirements.
