THE APPLICATION FOR AN AUTOMATED WEATHER OBSERVING SYSTEM (AWOS) LICENSE
AT MAESOT AIRPORT IS IN PROGRESS

1 INTRODUCTION

This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD

1 With effective from 2 November 2023, The purpose of this AIRAC AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) license at Maesot Airport is in progress. The details are as follows:

2 DETAILS

2.1 Thai Meteorological Department has completed inspection of Automated Weather Observing Systems (AWOS) at RWY 09/27 on December 13, 2019.

2.2 AWOS09 located at 16°42´3.13"N 98°32´29.19"E and AWOS27 located at 16°42´3.49"N 98°32´56.56"E.
