THE CONSTRUCTION OF TEMPORARY HANGAR
AT MAE FAH LUANG-CHIANG RAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (VTCT)

1 INTRODUCTION

This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD

1 With effect from 28 September 2023 at 0000 UTC to 31 January 2024 at 2259 UTC, the purpose of this AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned of the temporary hangar construction programme at Mae Fah Luang-Chiang Rai International Airport.

2 DETAILS

2.1 Location:

2.1.1 Coordinates: 195720.63N 0995252.58E

2.1.2 Distance of the construction area 1,258 meters beyond threshold runway 21 and 343 meters right side of extended Runway 21 centreline.

2.1.3 The construction area layout is shown in the appendix.

2.2 The construction area will be blocked off by barricades painted in an alternate band of red and white, the barricades will be lighted by omni-directional fixed red lights at night and during limited visibility condition.

2.3 Hangar Characteristics:

2.3.1 Maximum Height: 20 meters (AGL)

2.3.2 Width x Length : 50 m x 63 m
