This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD
1 With effect from 15 June 2023 at 0001 UTC to 15 July 2024 at 0001 UTC, the purpose of this AIRAC AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned regarding Temporary suspension of SURAT THANI DVOR/DME (STN) due to relocation details are as follows.
2 STN DVOR/DME will be temporarily suspension from 15 June 2023 at 0001 UTC to 15 July 2024 at 0001 UTC.
3 A temporary reporting point name SAPUD (090746.24N 0990805.09E) will be established at the same coordinates of SURAT THANI
DVOR/DME (STN) for ATS routes G458, W17, W24, W28, W32 and Y8 and a portion of ATS route G458 between STN and MENEX will be suspended until STN normal operations resume.
4 Reference to the AIP-THAILAND part ENR 1.10 item 4.1.1, 4.1.2, 4.1.3, 4.1.5 B) non-RNAV2 approved aircraft. To maintain efficiency of ATS during SURAT THAI DVOR/DME (STN) relocation, non-RNAV approved aircraft that intend to operate on G458 between SAPUD and MENEX shall file flight plan, depending on ACFT capability as follows:

Remark:1. Flight plan for non-RNAV2 approved aircraft shall be filed at FL240 or below.
2. Aircraft may request radar vectoring or suggestion from ATC.
3. All aircraft shall be equipped with a functional surveillance transponder.

6 This AIRAC AIP Supplement supersedes AIRAC AIP Supplement B05/23 and will remain current until 15 July 2024 at 0001 UTC. Any changes to this AIRAC AIP Supplement will be notified by NOTAM.
