  OVERLAY OF RUNWAY 01/19, TAXIWAYS AND APRON AND REVISION OF AIRFIELD LIGHTING SYSTEMS AT PHRAE AIRPORT (VTCP)

1  INTRODUCTION

This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD

1  With effect from 26 August 2022 at 1000 UTC to 28 November 2022 at 2200 UTC, this AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned of the overlay of Runway 01/19, taxiways and apron and revision of airfield lighting systems at Phrae Airport. The details are as follows:

2  CONSTRUCTION DETAILS

2.1  The construction works at Phrae Airport include overlay of Runway 01/19, taxiways, and apron and revision of airfield lighting systems (runway turn pad lights).

2.2  Runway 01/19, taxiways and apron will be closed during the construction period.

2.3  The construction works will be performed daily between 1000 - 2200 UTC.

2.4  Flashing red lights (unserviceability lights) will be displayed 0.5 metres above ground level at intervals of 3 metres to demarcate construction site. Vehicles and machinery in the site are all equipped with 90 x 90 cm orange and white checkered flags or flashing yellow lights. Construction areas will be denoted by highly visible barriers painted in alternate bands of red and white or orange and white. Personnel in the site are required to wear a reflective safety vest to meet safety requirements.
