REQUIREMENT FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF AIRCRAFT NOISE STANDARDS

1 INTRODUCTION

Since 1 December 2006, in order to minimize and prevent disturbance from aircraft noise comply with ICAO Annex 16 Environmental Protection.

2 APPLICABLE

2.1 No Aircraft shall be operated at Don Mueang International Airport, Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Chiang Mai International Airport unless it complies with the noise standards of International Civil Aviation Annex 16 Volume 1 Chapter 3 or equivalent standards as applicable.

2.2 The documents attesting noise certification shall be approved by State of Registry and shall be carried on board the aircraft.
