This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD
1 With effect from 1 July 2021 at 0100 UTC to 4 October 2021 at 2200 UTC, this AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned of the overlay of runway 08/26 pavement, construction of new taxiways and new apron, and revision of relevant lighting systems at Trang Airport. The details are as follows:
2.1 The overlay of runway 08/26 pavement, construction of new taxiways (D, E and F), new apron and relevant lighting systems.
2.2 The construction works will be performed daily from 0100 - 1300 UTC and 1330 - 2200 UTC.
2.3 Throughout the construction, vehicles and machinery in the site are all marked by 90 x 90 cm. orange and white checkered flags and equipped with obstruction lights.
2.4 The height of all machinery and vehicles must not exceed 4 metres.
2.5 All personnel and vehicles are able to enter and exit at the designated area only. Access to other areas must be permitted by airport officials.
2.6 During the construction period, pilots shall be advised by air traffic controller (ATC) to operate flights with caution.
2.7 During the construction period, Airport operators will inform of declared emergency at least 30 minutes.
2.8 The charts related to the construction are attached herewith.
4 This AIP Supplement superseded NOTAM C1675/21 and will remain current until 4 October 2021 at 2200 UTC. Any change to this AIP Supplement will be notified through NOTAM.
