INTRODUCTION

The introduction of eAIP is in line with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) requirements to enhance safe and efficient global aeronautical information management (AIM) that would support a digital, real-time, accredited and secure aeronautical information environment. As part of our effort to enhance safety and efficiency in Thailand, The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) will implement the Electronic Aeronautical Information Publication Thailand (eAIP-Thailand) which will publish via AIS Website on 04 July 2019.

  IMPLEMENTATION

The Electronic AIP-Thailand (eAIP-Thailand) is an extensible markup language (XML) document built on a highly structured Aeronautical Information Exchange Model (AIXM) compliant aeronautical information database. This allows aeronautical data to be published with increased consistency, integrity and usability and facilitated by HyperText Markup Language (HTML) technology (use of hot links, tool tips, etc.). And possibility to visualize changes both in text and graphics.

eAIP-Thailand (Fifth Edition) will be published and deployed on 04 July 2019 (AIRAC Cycle 09/19) Please note that all information will not significant changes compare to AIRAC Cycle 08/2019 in PDF version, except all effective dated will be changed to 18 July 2019 as of 5th edition eAIP has been established. All AIS users may retrieve the electronic integrated-AIP, comprising AIP, AMDT, SUP and AIC, in both PDF and HTML version from ais.caat.or.th. Moreover, AIS Thailand also provide the hard copies of Integrated Aeronautical Information Publication (iAIP) in CD-Rom though AIS Website.
