This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD
1 With effect from 31 July 2024 at 0100 UTC to 23 September 2025 at 1000 UTC, this AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned of the construction of hydrant system for aircraft fueling station at Krabi Airport.
2.1 Construction of Section Valve Chamber (SVC)
2.1.1 The construction areas are located in the following locations:
- SVC1: Apron edge area (Aircraft Stand No. 20)
- SVC2: Apron area (Aircraft Stand No. 10 and 11)
- SVC3: Apron edge area (Aircraft Stand No. 1)
2.1.2 The construction period is from 31 July 2024 to 4 December 2024 between 0100 - 1000 UTC.
2.1.3 The Aircraft Stand No. 10 and 11 will be unserviceable during the construction period.
2.1.4 The construction area layout is shown below.
2.2 Construction and Installation of Hydrant Pit Valve
2.2.1 The construction area is located at the apron area (Aircraft Stand No. 1 - 19) and the affected aircraft stands will be unserviceable.
2.2.2 The construction period is from 31 July 2024 to 3 June 2025 between 0100 - 1000 UTC.
2.2.3 The construction will be carried out according to the work schedule as follows:

2.2.4 The installation area layout is shown below.
2.3 Installation of Emergency Fuel Shut Off (EFSO) System
2.3.1 The installation area is located at the service road area adjacent to the apron.
2.3.2 The installation period is from 31 July 2024 to 6 October 2024 between 0100 - 1000 UTC.
2.3.3 The installation area layout is shown below.
2.4 System Testing
2.4.1 System testing will be conducted daily from 24 June 2025 to 23 September 2025 between 0100 - 1000 UTC.
2.4.2 The fuel supply system in the apron area will be tested during nighttime when no scheduled flights are operated.
2.5 The construction areas will be blocked off by barriers painted in alternate bands of red and white or orange and white and will be provided with omnidirectional fixed red lights and orange and white checkered flags.
2.6 Vehicles and machinery operating in the airside will be equipped with 90 x 90 cm orange and white checkered flags or flashing lights. Personnel in the worksites are required to wear a reflective safety vest and a safety helmet.
2.7 All personnel and vehicles require permission to enter and exit the designated areas.
2.8 Pilots are required to follow instructions of air traffic controller (ATC) throughout the construction period.
