This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD
1 With effect form 23 September 2021 at 0000 UTC to 31 March 2023 at 1700 UTC, this AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned of the expansion of apron, revision of airfield lighting systems, installation of aerobridge and visual docking guidance system at Surat Thani Airport. The details are as follows:
2.1 The construction program includes construction of new apron and new taxiway M, expansion of existing apron, revision of taxiways (A and B) and airfield lighting systems, installation of aerobridge and visual docking guidance system.
2.2 The construction works will be performed daily from 0000 to 1700 UTC except when scheduled flights are operated.
2.3 Throughout the construction, vehicles and machinery in the site are all marked by 90 x 90 cm. orange and white checkered flags. Personnel in the site is required to wear a reflective safety vest.
2.4 All personnel and vehicles must have permission to enter and exit at the designated area.
2.5 During the construction period, pilots shall be advised by air traffic controller (ATC) to operate flights with caution.
2.6 The charts related to the construction are attached herewith.
