This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD
1 With effect from 26 August 2021 at 1200 UTC to 18 January 2022 at 2300 UTC, this AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned of the overlay of runway 06/24, taxiways pavement and revision of airfield lighting systems at Chumphon Airport. The details are as follows:
2.1 The overlay of runway 06/24, taxiways (A and B) pavement and revision of airfield lighting systems.
2.2 Runway 06/24 and taxiways closed during the construction period.
2.3 The construction works will be performed daily from 1200 - 2300 UTC.
2.4 Throughout the construction, vehicles and machinery in the site are all marked by 90 x 90 cm. orange and white checkered flags 90 x 90 cm.
2.5 All personnel and vehicles are able to enter and exit at the designated area only. Access to other areas must be permitted by airport officials.
2.6 During the construction period, pilots shall be advised by air traffic controller (ATC) to operate flights with caution.
