TEMPORARY FENCES INSTALLED FOR CONSTRUCTION AREA AND THE REDUCTION OF RUNWAY STRIP 01L/19R DIMENSION AT SUVARNABHUMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

1 INTRODUCTION

This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD

1 With effect from 9 April 2021 at 0000 UTC to 13 August 2023 at 1000 UTC, the purpose of this AIP Supplement is to inform all concerned regarding temporary construction fences installed and the reduction of runway strip 01L/19R dimension.

2 DETAILS

2.1 Construction fences will be installed along the west side of runway 01L/19R with distance 155 M from runway centre line 01L/19R.

2.2 The coordinates of fences are as follows:

2.3 The dimension of fences is 3 meter-high painted in alternate band of red and white, fences will be lighted by omni-directional fixed red lights spacing every 7.5 M at night and during limited visibility condition.

2.4 Runway strip 01L/19R dimension will be reduced to 3820 x 280 M.

Refer to VTBS AD 2.12 RUNWAY PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS remain unchanged.

2.5 Pilots are advised caution during flight operation.

2.6 The layout of construction area is shown in attachment A1 - A2.
