COLLECTION OF ADVANCE PASSENGER PROCESSING SYSTEM (APPS) FEE

GENERAL

Under the Civil Aviation Board Regulation No.87, the Air Operator is required to submit advance passenger information of all passengers and crew on board to the competent authorities through the advance passenger processing system (APPS).

Any Air Operator who violates or fails to comply with the abovementioned requirement is considered in breath of section 28 of the Air Navigation Act B.E. 2497 and shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five (5) years or a fine not exceeding two hundred thousand baht or both under section 76 (3) of the act. Also, such violation may result in the denial of flight permission to/from Thailand for six (6) months from the date of violation being found.
